Fulton Hogan Employee Wins Z Training Development Award

Fulton Hogan’s Bay of Plenty graduate engineer, David Kingham, was awarded the Z Training Development Award at the Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) Conference this year.

The award recognises how individuals such as David develop a career path; making the most of opportunities available to them in the civil and general contracting industry.

To win the award, David demonstrated how he planned his training path, overcame challenges, developed goals and kept on track. He also showed how the support from his mentors and Fulton Hogan helped his career development.

David started as a cadet with Fulton Hogan working during his holidays at Te Rapa project and then on the Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) project. When he completed his qualifications, he joined Fulton Hogan’s Bay of Plenty region as an asphalt quality manager on the TEL surfacing team. David also gained experience in construction, included self-managing civil construction packages.

Bay of Plenty Contracting Manager Mark Stirton said; “We are all very proud of David’s achievement.”
