The KUPE facility is a gas condensate field, located in the Taranaki basin, 30km off the west coast of New Zealand’s North Island.

The field is believed to contain approximately 250 PJ of recoverable gas and up to 20,000,000 bbls of recoverable waxy condensate.

Comprehensive toolbox of skills

This infrastructure project utilised Fulton Hogan’s comprehensive toolbox of skills, with work involving concrete, reinforcing and earthworks to build a firemain system, oily water system, electrical earthing installation, cathodic Protection system, grouting and LPG bullet installation.

Fulton Hogan Division Company, Stahlton, provided HDPE Liners, roads /paving/guard rail, dust control and landscape planting services.
